Applications are processed in the order received. Once an application has been reviewed, applicants will be notified via e-mail with instructions on how to submit outstanding materials. New license applications can take approximately 60-90 days to process.
Changes to the facility’s location, name, responsible pharmacist/facility manager, and/or owner cannot be made when renewing your license.
Requests for status updates or confirmation of the receipt of an application will not be provided at this time.
If you have already contacted Board staff via emailed or left a voice message, please do not send additional emails. Multiple contacts only delays the process. We will respond to your email as soon as possible.
How Can You Help?
Use the Board’s rules for wholesale distributors, outsourcing facilities, limited distributors, and 3PL’s as the first source of information. Check the rules for answers to questions before calling or e-mailing.
Provide a valid e-mail account to communicate directly with the applicant. Not providing direct contact information will delay the process.
Thoroughly review the fees due and instructions provided within the application. Important instructions and a checklist of required items are provided.
Thoroughly review applications to ensure they are completed accurately before submitting to the Board. Applications that are incomplete or include errors will take longer to process.
Limit e-mail and phone call inquires to once a week. Please designate one person to contact staff with questions.
Wholesale distributor, outsourcing facility and 3PL new applicants or facility manager/supervising pharmacist license change applications: DO NOT SUBMIT FINGERPRINT CARDS WITH THE APPLICATION. They will be shredded. Once a completed application is received, a fingerprint packet will be sent to the mailing address indicated on the application. The fingerprint packet is to be completed by the facility manager and returned to the Board for processing
