Survey - How Ready is Iowa for USP <800>

Date:
Monday, July 10, 2017

The U.S. Pharmacopeia (USP) adopted new standards on various changes to safe pharmacy practice, including the handling and utilization of hazardous drugs (HDs). To gauge the understanding and preparedness for compliance with these newly formed standards, the Iowa Board of Pharmacy has drafted a short 14-question survey regarding how your pharmacy currently handles hazardous drugs.

Please follow the link below to help the Board of Pharmacy best understand how they can help pharmacies in Iowa in regards to the new standards. Before beginning the survey, we encourage participants to review the USP <800> standards here, as well as the NIOSH list of hazardous drugs found here.
